Readouts

What Nabd shows you.

Everything sits in the menu bar. Open it from there, or in its own window.

Temperature & fans

See how hot your Mac is running and how hard the fans are working.

CPU & memory

Live CPU and memory use, and a list of the processes using them.

Power draw

Watts from the wall, split into the Mac itself, battery charging and charger loss.

Claude Code sessions

Each session's CPU, memory, MCP servers and heaviest process. Idle sessions are flagged.

The guard

Pauses the heaviest Claude Code session when the CPU stays at your limit, then continues it.

Arabic interface

Built in Arabic. Use it from the menu bar, in a window, or as a command-line tool.

The guard

How the guard works.

It steps in only when the CPU stays high, and steps back on its own.

  1. Pick a limitSet the guard to 80, 90 or 95% CPU, or turn it off.
  2. The CPU stays at the limitIf it holds there for about 12 seconds, Nabd pauses the heaviest Claude Code session.
  3. You get an alertIt names the paused session and gives you a "Force continue" button.
  4. It continuesAutomatically when the machine calms down, or right away when you press "Force continue".
Nabd's guard alert in Arabic: Nabd paused a session. The CPU of my-project reached 97%; it will continue automatically when the machine calms down, or choose Force continue. Buttons: Force continue, Hide
